What day to day help will I get?

What day to day help will I get?

Here is some information on the day to day practicalities of running your business. We have LOADS of recipes and help available for you to help ensure great classes.

*You'll have access to 3 years of different sweet and savoury term time recipes for regular minis and juniors classes and 1.5 years of termly recipes for academy classes.

*You will also be able to run 35 different workshops (this is 3 years worth of different workshops).

*You will be able to offer 6 different party options.

Every class recipe has a recipe card. Every recipe is tried, tested and have been enjoyed by our customers and parents. Each recipe is achievable in the time of the class. We vary between sweet and savoury recipes and have recipes from all over the world. Our recipe cards are written with clear child friendly instructions and are professionally printed and laminated so they are wipeable. We also have recipe card folders because the children love to collect their recipe cards and use them time and time again!

Nutritional information – we use a specialist programme to design bespoke information for each recipe. These are on the back of the recipe card. The information also include allergy information. We also have allergen charts for use at class for each recipe too.

Craft activity – we recommend a craft activity each week to accompany the recipe. These are chosen to fit in time wise with the recipe cooking time in a particular week and also within our cost per class budget. Our crafts are as varied as our recipes.

Lesson plan – each week you’ll receive a lesson plan for each recipe. Each lesson plan contains:

-A list of specific equipment you will need for that lesson (for eg in a particular week you may need rolling pins and pasty brushes etc).

-A shopping list telling you how much of each ingredient you’ll ready need to buy.

-A timing section

- A hints and tips section so as well as the recipe video, you’ll know all the things that will help your class run smoothly.

Tutorial video – we always advise trying out the recipe yourself before a class (another perk of the role!) so you know exactly how it should look, feel and taste. For every single recipe there is tutorial video showing you how to make the recipe. Don’t worry, none of the recipes are really difficult. They’ve been created with children in mind and are broken down into manageable steps to help the children achieve amazing results.

Online shop - we have a private online shop where you can order everything you need to sell to customers. Every half term you’ll place an order with how many recipe cards you need, we deal with all the producing and printing of the cards you just need to let us know how many you need. Emma will then send these to you before the end of a particular half term, so you then have them ready for the start of the next half term. The recipe cards come with a stickers too so you can write the recipe and name of the child on them.
