Through experience we know that when someone looks into taking the franchise route it's NOT because they're incapable of starting their own business from scratch!

It's more because they understandably have no idea where to start....
or what services to offer,
or how to trial their idea in the market,
or know what prices to charge,
or understand exactly who their customer is,
or how to even get customers,
or how to promote their business.....
and on what platforms,
what qualifications/insurance they'll need,
or where to find a good designer for marketing materials and a decent printers,
and supplies stockists,
AND how much time and money all this trial and error will take....

It's a minefield!!

People look to a franchise because and they don't want to waste time and energy by having to learn everything the hard (and expensive) way.

When someone else has already been through this process and knows the answers AND is sharing 'how'..... well, you can see the appeal!

What people need more than anything is help and support from a team who know exactly what they are doing! A franchise is a much easier, less risky, less costly route where you have a proven blueprint to follow AND the help and backing of a supportive team.

Our role at Head Office is to teach, nurture and support you to help you become a successful business owner.

It's our top priority and help and support to our team comes above everything else.

How do we do support you?

Right at the start we help you work out if a franchise is the right route for you, and then if a Cook Stars franchise in particular is a good fit. Square pegs don't fit into round holes and this needs to be the right opportunity for you! We'll help you figure that out.

When you join us, we provide very detailed comprehensive training to cover EVERYTHING. From how to run the business side, to how to run a class/party, and everything in between!

We have recently moved our training online so now you can partly train at home too in your own time.

We provide ALL the equipment, marketing tools, webpage, social media page, a booking system and in house systems that you'll need. There is a lot to all this, so please get in touch if you'd like a full run down of it all and we can explain it in more detail.

We provide everyone with a tailored individual business starter plan. Our team have told us they found theirs so useful. It covers local postcode demographics such as how many children of certain ages are within each area, a list of all schools etc...all very handy things to know when you're first starting out.

After coming along to 2 days training at Head Office, you'll have weekly 1-2-1 calls, as well as help and support (forever!) whenever you need it. It's usual that we're in touch very often for the first 6 weeks or so whilst you put all that training into action!

Every half term we provide all recipe cards, lesson plans, shopping lists, packing lists and tutorial videos.
We have over 115 minis and juniors recipes and plans, 60 academy recipes, 36 workshop plans and 6 parties. All timed, fully costed and ready to run.

For ALL of our team, our Operations Manager Faye (who is dedicated to helping the team) and I (founder Cathy) offers 1-2-1 support call. These are meetings for people in the team who want help and advice to run their business in the best way possible, and in a way that suits them. This is great if you're the type of person who needs a gentle nudge to be kept accountable and helps you hit the goals you've set yourself! Having a team that can offer you a sounding board and having a wealth of experience at your disposal is simply invaluable.

We are also on hand at any time to help with planning, pricing, marketing help and anything else that may pop up.

We have a very supportive Cook Stars team Facebook group where everyone offers help and support to each other.

We provide weekly 'Marketing Monday' ideas for your to implement in your business.
We also have 'Food For Thought Thursday' with other hints and tips of how to work effectively in your business.
We also hold an annual conference with additional training and inspiring speakers and a great opportunity to meet up with colleagues.
Support is always available which means although our team are running their own businesses, they are never on their own. It's a pretty awesome position to be in if you want to be a business owner but want a team to lean on too.
